Shipping Information
We ship Monday thru Fridays via UPS or Fedex to all 48 states including Alaska and Hawaii. Orders placed BEFORE 2:00 PM will be shipped out the same day. Orders placed AFTER 2:00 PM will be processed and shipped out the following day. We ship a majority of parcels NextDayAir or 2nd Day if your parcel contains perishable goods (i.e. meat products, cheese cakes, cheese, etc.). Please select 1-2 Business days upon checkout to ensure your products arrive within 2 business days. Customers living within a 2 day transit area from Pennsylvania, may select Ground shipping, which will also arrive within 2 business days. A Special Note: (UPS and Fedex, will only gaurantee delivery the week of Thanks Giving and Xmas, if NextDay is selected (1-2 Business Day option). If you wish to receive your package on time, select the 1-2 business day option upon checkout. Selecting other services such as ground during Thanks Giving week or Xmas week may result in delays to your package. We recommend shipping only NextdayAir during this time frame to ensure you receive your package on a timely manner. Please again be sure to select 1-2 Business days to ensure delivery during this period of time.
Prices for shipping will depend on the number of products you purchase and the destination of delivery. Each parcel is guaranteed to arrive at your doorstep within 2 business days, with exception to remote areas and or packages that are shipped ground, which can add an additional 1 to 2 day for delivery. The prices for shipping will be listed upon checkout. We reserve the right to ship your packages out the following Monday for orders placed after Wednesday of each week.
To make the most out of your purchase, the more you order, the less your unit product cost will be. We encourage you to compare the final delivered prices of our products on the internet. You'll find that our products are competitively priced.
Once we ship a package, we will send you a tracking number that is linked to FEDEX or UPS. You can then track your package to know exactly where it is in transit the following day. We monitor every package to ensure it arrives to its intended destination, and we will contact you immediately should there be any issues.
Acts of God/ Weather Delays
Weather delays can can be unexpected and can result in the delay of your package. In the event that this should happen, we will immediately notify you on the status of your shipment. In some cases we may know of a weather delay just before we are about to ship your package. In this case, we will call you to discuss a potential rescheduling of your product to a later date.
Please note that PA Dutch Fresh Foods and any of our carriers (Federal Express, UPS or DHL) will NOT be held responsible for delays due to "Acts of God". This is stated in their shipping policies and therefore is also our policy as well. However, we will do everything that we can to get your package delivered as soon as possible to minimize the chance of loss.
Shipping Restrictions
We are unable to ship to APO/FPO, P.O. Box's, Rural Route's & destinations outside the U.S. If you are unsure if your address can be shipped to, please contact us prior to placing your order, or obtain an alternate address that is a physical business or residential location.
Address Corrections
Please make sure you enter the proper address for us to ship your packages. Incorrect addresses can cause delays and additional costs to correct/reroute. We will not be held responsible for the spoilage or reimbursement of shipping charges and address correction fees should this occur. Please keep in mind that incorrect addresses can take an additional day to be re-routed and re-delivered.
Authorized Release:
We ship all parcels Authorized Release, meaning that if there is no one home at the time of delivery, the parcels may be left by the carrier at your door, if the carrier feels it is safe to do so. Sometimes, carriers will also leave packages behind bushes or at conspicous locations to avoid theft. If possible, we recommend that you make arrangements to have someone home at the time of delivery. Packages that are not left at the door will be returned to the station for re-delivery the following day or will be available for pick-up at the local Carrier station. We do not guarantee products after the first day once a product has been attempted to be delivered.
Returns & Credits:
Should a package be delivered late due to a mistake made by us, and result in spoilage, we will issue a full credit or offer to resend an identical package at a later date. Should you be dissatisfied with your product, please call us immediately so that we can correct the product for you. We will then issue you a credit or refund on the portion of the product that was not delivered in good order. All claims must be made within 24 hours of receipt by email or phone.
